Ukrzaliznytsia restores railway connection with Lviv
Passenger trains to Lviv will start running on June 26. This was announced by Acting Chairman of the Board of Ukrzaliznytsia Ivan Yuryk, the company's press service informs.
Ukrzaliznytsia resumes trains №743 / 744 Darnytsia, Kyiv - Lviv, №715 / 716 Kyiv - Lviv, №91 / 92 Kyiv - Lviv and №12 / 11 Lviv - Odesa. From the same date, trains that used to run through Lviv without a stop for boarding and disembarking passengers will be restored.
"Currently, we are finishing work on the appointment of these trains and will soon open ticket sales," says Yurik.
Train №743 / 744 Darnytsia, Kyiv - Lviv will depart from Darnytsia station at 17:07, from Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi station at 17:33 and arrive in Lviv at 22:49. Return from Lviv at 06:02 and arrival at Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi station at 11:17, at Darnytsia station at 11:43. During the course there are stops at the following stations: Sviatoshyn, Korosten, Dubno, Pidzamche.
Train №715 / 716 Kyiv - Lviv will depart from Kyiv at 06:50 and arrive in Lviv at 13:45. Return departure at 16:12 and arrival in Kyiv at 23:08. Stops at Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsky and Ternopil stations.
Train №91 / 92 Kyiv - Lviv will depart from Kyiv at 22:37 and arrive in Lviv at 06:26. Departure at 23:19 and arrival in Kyiv at 06:49. During the journey the train will stop at Sviatoshyn and Pidzamche stations.
Train №12 / 11 Lviv - Odessa will depart from Lviv at 22:24 and arrive in Odessa at 08:43. In the opposite direction departure at 21:59 and arrival in Lviv at 08:04. There are stops at Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Zhmerynka stations.
Tickets can be purchased through the company's official website and at the box office.
Ukrzaliznytsia assures that all trains undergo intensive disinfection before and after the flight. Also increased processing of bed linen during washing.
“Each car has a paramedic that can be used by passengers. The cars have recommendation stickers on the rules of personal hygiene in quarantine. Train crews are provided with personal protective equipment, have undergone appropriate briefings and medical examinations, "the statement reads.
To board the train, passengers must wear a protective mask, as well as undergo a temperature screening at the entrance to the station and when boarding the car. Passengers are advised to move as little as possible by car.
The trains will temporarily not offer drinks and pastries. And boiling water, if necessary, will be provided to passengers in their own dishes.
